Tandoori Prawns

Rezept

Step 1

Make the marinade by mixing the ground spices with the yoghurt, the lemon juice and the chopped ginger and garlic.

Step 2

Peel the prawns. Then add them to the marinade and mix well. Allow to marinate for an hour or so.

Step 3

Slice the salad and scatter it over a deep serving dish.

Step 4

Take the prawns out of the marinade and fry over a high flame for 1 or 2 minutes on each side. Scatter over the salad while still hot. Drizzle with olive oil, correct the seasoning and enjoy without further ado.

 

Serve this dish with Basmati rice, garnished with a few mint leaves.

  • 20 prawns
  • 2 heaped tbsp. of tandoori powder
  • 1 pot of liquid yoghurt
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 knob of fresh ginger
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 large heart of Treviso radicchio
  • 4 tbsp. of olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
