Our sustainable commitments
Our purpose is to craft high-quality Champagnes, distributed in France and around the world, showcasing the grapes grown by our partner growers, while fully embracing environmental and societal responsibilities.

Palmerians, naturally committed
“The House Palmer & Co became a Mission-Driven Company in 2023, naturally extending its longstanding commitment to nature, terroir and the transmission of expertise. As it approaches its 80th anniversary, the House bases its Champagnes on respect for living systems, mastery of long-term ageing and a collective pursuit of excellence. Today, 93% of the vineyard is certified, reflecting a concrete and measurable commitment. Responsible viticulture, preservation of soils and biodiversity, a winery built to demanding environmental standards, and responsible choices in investments, packaging and communication, together with a structured carbon strategy, all embody this ambition to lead by example. Recognised through ISO 14001 certification and AFNOR ‘Engagé RSE’ – 2-star level, this approach reflects an environmental, human and societal responsibility, collectively upheld in service of wine quality and the future of the House.”

Our purpose
- We are convinced that true greatness comes from the union of talents and the ability to transform a collective ambition into a recognizable signature: that of unique, uncompromising wines.
- We are committed to ensuring that our champagnes create unique moments of responsible pleasure and sharing, while playing an active role in addressing today’s and tomorrow’s social and environmental challenges.
- Our human-scale model allows us to maintain close relationships with the “Palmerians” – employees, members and customers – and we ensure that they are proud ambassadors of our practices, our commitments and our responses to societal challenges.

Our balanced model
Our 7 commitments
- Respect for nature : Nature provides the grapes essential to crafting our Champagnes. We are indebted to it, and it is our responsibility to preserve it.
- Transparency: Our champagnes are enjoyed by many people around the world. We are committed to protecting and ensuring the safety of our customers by implementing full traceability of our wines and all materials in contact with them.
- Attentiveness: We listen to the expectations and needs of our stakeholders, and first and foremost those of the Palmerians, namely our partner winegrowers, our employees and our customers.
- Ethics and integrity: Statutorily committed to respecting the principle of fairness towards our partner winegrowers, we also uphold our principles of ethics and integrity across all our activities.

- Actors in our territory: Historically and naturally rooted in our terroir, through our non-relocatable activity, we contribute directly and sustainably to the local economy. The marketing of our champagne goes hand in hand with promoting our region’s heritage (cellars, terroirs, history and ancestral craftsmanship).
- Expertise and fulfillment: Our work is built on the deployment of expertise and values that enable us to achieve the level of excellence of our Champagnes. These essential foundations of our long-term success are passed on to our employees, while we remain attentive to their well-being, so that they can take pride in being Palmerians.
- Sustainability and longevity: The champagne-making process requires time. Time is our ally and a core part of our DNA, reflected in our strategy: a balanced sharing of value, long-term investment, and a fair redistribution to our grower-members and employees.
